Texas Hotel Data Search

Historically, the Texas Comptroller’s Hotel Data Search tool provided hotel tax information as reported by hotels.

Senate Bill 1086 passed during the 85th legislative session now prohibits state agencies from posting hotel receipts information from a business on a public website. However, users may access Hotel Occupancy Tax data using our Secure Information and File Transfer (SIFT) site. A user login is required to comply with Tax Code Section 156.155.
