You can register through CAPPS Recruit to put an application on file. Human Resources posts CPA's jobs and accepts state applications on CAPPS Recruit.
Am I required to register with the CAPPS Recruit system to apply for a CPA position?
Yes, registration in CAPPS Recruit is the best way to apply for CPA postings.
How do I receive email notifications of future CPA postings that meet my criteria and/or interest?
Register in CAPPS Recruit, complete a profile and state application. Go to Preferences and identify the job classifications and locations you are interested in. Then go to Profile, My Account, and select Yes under Correspondence.
Can I use Work In Texas to be notified of future CPA job postings?
All public CPA postings appear on Work In Texas. Your Work In Texas Job Search criteria and requirements determine whether you receive an email notification from Work In Texas about CPA's postings.
Can I apply for CPA's job openings through Work In Texas?
CPA will accept Work In Texas online applications. However, CPA job postings may require responses to supplemental questions. Work In Texas online applications that do not have responses to those questions may be considered incomplete and not processed for consideration.
You can respond to CPA's supplemental questions in CAPPS Recruit, the preferred online application method.

Go to CAPPS Login to retrieve your username and/or password.
Note: CPA Human Resources cannot retrieve username and password information.
