Admission is competitive and based on academic performance in the classroom, extra-curricular activities, required essay (may submit a graded paper), transcript and test scores. Letters of recommendation are optional, but encouraged.

TLU allows students to apply for admission as test-optional applicants. Students who choose to apply test-optional are not required to submit SAT or ACT test scores to complete their application files. Students must select this option on the admissions application. High school transcripts and essays are still required for their application to be complete.
