Vandal & Winifred Mercer Foundation

Several $2,500 loans will be awarded to graduating high school seniors entering college as a Freshman and college students attending TAMU Galveston or College Station Determined by high school rank in relation to SAT/ACT scores:

• Top 10% of class - any score acceptable
• Next 15% of class - SAT of 1200 and/or ACT of 19
• Lower three quarters - SAT of 1500 and/or ACT of 24

Deadline: January 1 to March 31

Jack & Katherine Pearce Foundation

$8,000 loans offered to a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and resident of Galveston, Texas, who is a graduate of a Galveston High School, or attended a Galveston elementary school and graduated from a Prep School.
