I have a serious interest in mechanical engineering! I have been in the robotics club for three years, and I always do my best when I design and program a robot with my team. We design and create a robot every year for the First Start Challenge. This year the robotics team also made two battling robots to fight each other for a pep rally.
I also explored the world of engineering for career research for my AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) class. This research has helped me find out my true passion in mechanical engineering. I know that they had a projected 7% outlook according to 2014 U.S. statistics. I did all this research in AVID because I really love the process of building and programming, and I thrive on the challenge that I get as a Junior Mechanical Engineer.
The reason I think you should give this matching fund to me is that I would make sure I don't waste it. I have had all A’s with 3 pre-AP classes and an AP Human Geography course. I want to have enough tuition money so I can complete my Bachelor's of Engineering and pursue my dream of creating through mechanics!
