My dream is to be a professional football player. But, if that doesn't work out, I want to be a deep sea diver scientist. This is called an oceanographer. The reason I want to be an oceanographer is because my favorite animals are sharks, and I want to know more than I already know about sharks. Also, the ocean is one of the world's most unexplored places and I think it would be fun and exciting to explore its mysteries. I think we need to spread the word now and tell people to stop dumping chemicals and trash in the ocean, or it will be too late. For example, in India, the Ganges River that dumps into the ocean is so polluted that thousands of people get diseases from it every year. I read about this in the National Geographic magazine and it inspired me to help protect the ocean even more. If I want to be an oceanographer, I will need a master's degree in science, which is at least 6 years of college education. Being an oceanographer would be a good opportunity because we can save more and more animals each year and we can also inspire people to not pollute the ocean and our freshwater.
