Jared – future business owner

My name is Jared. I still have many ideas in mind for my career as I get older. I would like to start out by saying soccer is my passion! I would like to be a professional soccer player when I grow up. There are many soccer players that I admire and I look up to. My dream is to become one as well and one day have someone look up to me as well. When I tell my parents about my dreams, they get excited. However, they have convinced I need a career as a backup because I will not be a soccer player forever. The career that I have picked for now is business management. After I retire as a soccer player I would like to own my business. This is a career that will take 2 to 4 years to prepare me to own my business and all the responsibilities that come with being an owner. Perhaps I can open a sports store that will employ many people and support many families including mine. Owning a business will help our economy and at the same time help our country. By completing a business management career and keeping up with my soccer skills I can fulfill both of my dreams. Not only will I enjoys and earn money doing what I like best, but I can take of my financial situation owning my own business once I retire from my soccer career.
