One of the careers that has really caught my attention is that of an Educational Diagnostician. An Educational Diagnostician specializes in the care of students with special needs or disabilities. I would find great pleasure in a job like this because it would allow me to support and contribute to the development of future generations.

In order to become an Educational Diagnostician you must have a professional certification in a similar field and have at least 3 years of teaching experience. Also, you are required to have earned a Master's Degree in education which, after receiving your Bachelor's Degree, can take a minimum of one to two years. In some cases, if you have already earned a degree then you can have a graduate program arranged for you so you can complete the required courses and become certified for the position. This is a very in-demand position because of how specialized it is and the patience it requires. The average salary for this job in 2014 was about $68,000. Because of the fact that special needs kids will continue to need assistance in school, the estimated job growth is steady. For this reason, entering this field would be a wise decision and ensure job security.
