What's the definition of a good actor?
Somebody who tries hard to be everybody but himself.
I really love to become someone I'm not... in fact, I practice doing so almost daily. Acting is my passion. It didn't really occur to me that acting was what I was doing until my sister decided that she wanted to model and drug me along to her Saturday acting/modeling workshops. The workshops intrigued me and it was then that I realized I could make a living doing what I like. As with any other career, you must hone your profession. In addition to attending the workshops, I did a great deal of research, talked to many people (including actors), and interviewed a Talent Scout. The future is bright and education/training is important. It is a tough industry to break into, but I've learned that hard work and not giving up is key. As Momma Nikki would say, "Get up, Show up and Stay!"
Why does an actor enjoy his work so much?
Because it is all play! :)
