My Future as a Software Designer

Becoming a software designer is a lifetime goal of mine because I'm interested in computers and video game software. This is the perfect job for me because I've always had an interest in technology and I have even made some of my own games and computer programs. I have also been taking the steps to become a software designer, but I still have a long way to go.

I am looking for the best high school and college to expand my knowledge in the subject of computer science and software design. I am planning on going to a specialized magnet high school for technology and design, then to the University of Texas at Austin for college because of their advanced educational curriculum and their focus on technology.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, computer systems design and related services has the highest levels of employment in the computer industry at 241,980 and software publishers have the second greatest wage in the industry at $109,030 annually. The field I want to work in is software design and publishing. It might be harder to get into, but it would be worth it for the extra pay and to do what I like.

In conclusion, I want to become a software designer because of my interest in computers and technology. I am going to achieve this by looking for the best education in this field and researching jobs that interest me to find the best one. If I get a good education and land a good job, I am sure I will become a successful software developer.
