Each month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases the Employment Situation Summary — or jobs report — for the country. It’s considered one of the best economic indicators available, sharing details on unemployment, hiring, salaries and much more. With so much valuable data, each release is highly anticipated (or possibly dreaded). Reading it isn’t always straightforward. Let’s take a look at its work.
