Good for Texas Tour: Rural Law Enforcement Grant Program 2024

The 88th Texas Legislature appropriated $330 million to fund local law enforcement grants for the 2024-25 biennium, and the Comptroller’s office proudly administers the grant program. This money helps the public servants who go above and beyond to ensure the safety of rural Texans. And that’s good for Texas.
