Really Simple Syndication (RSS) provide an XML-based format for content distribution.
The Texas Comptroller's office uses RSS 2.0 to offer English and Spanish feeds for use in news readers.
How to access RSS feeds
Install a news reader that displays RSS feeds from the websites you select. After installing the reader, you can add feeds manually by copying and pasting the feed’s address into your reader. You can also subscribe to a feed so you will automatically receive updates.
Instead of downloading a dedicated news reader, you can use a web-based version. Some newer browsers allow you to click on a news feed link to display the feeds. Many commercial content providers allow users to add RSS feeds directly to their personal pages.
